ThePsychiatry Interest Group was organized to provide a forum for medical students to learn about psychiatry as a specialty and the presentation of mental illness in all fields of medicine.
Meetings are held monthly on topics such as psychiatry subspecialties, residencies, therapies, specific disorders and research. Regular lunch meetings and annual movie nights highlighting psychopathology also provide students with the opportunity to meet faculty and residents in the Department of Psychiatry.
